Goldenvoice announces new festival to be headlined by Tom Petty & Mumford and Sons

Goldenvoice has announced its latest festival – but, unlike Coachella, Stagecoach, and Desert Trip, you are going to have to drive a bit west to see it.

Arroyo Seco Weekend will take place in Pasadena on June 24-25 on the grounds of the Brookside Country Club (next to the Rose Bowl). The fest will feature headliners Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers (so much for that Desert Trip theory) and Mumford & Sons along with John Mayall, the Alabama Shakes, the Shins, Fitz and the Tantrums and more.

Here’s the poster:

The event will be kid-friendly with an area presented by Kidspace Children’s Museum and, like other Goldenvoice fests, will feature a big roster of restaurants and craft beers.

Here’s the full lineup:

Saturday: Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, the Meters, the Alabama Shakes, Dawes, Live, Broken Social Scene, Charles Bradley, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Roy Ayers, William Bell, Jeff Goldblum and the Mildred Snitzer Orchestra, John Mayall and Bernie Maupin.

Sunday: Mumford & Sons, Weezer, the Shins, Fitz & the Tantrums, Andrew Bird, Lukas Nelson and the Promise of the Real, Galactic, the Revivalists, Andy Grammar, ZZ Ward, Lettuce, Jamtown, the Mowgli’s, Alice Smith, David Lindley, Con Brio and NK Band.

Tickets go on sale Monday, March 20 with single-day passes going for $125 and a weekend pass $225.
