A woman is dead after the vehicle she was driving flew off a freeway overpass and onto the the 110 Freeway in Los Angeles.
It happened at 3:58 am, according to Fox 11. The car went off the Third Street overpass and fell onto the northbound lanes of the freeway. The 50-year-old woman who was driving the car died at the scene.

Multiple crashes followed and there are no details released yet on any injuries to other drivers.

All northbound lanes were closed Thursday morning in order for police to investigate, reports KTLA. No word on when they might reopen.
