Disneyland will soon have digital Fastpasses that you can book on your smartphone. But, as with all things, there is a catch.
The Disney MaxPass will let you book a Fastpass to rides like Space Mountain and The Haunted Mansion on your phone through the Disneyland app – which is cool. In order to do so, it will cost you $10 a day – which is not cool. The price for season pass holders has not been announced.
You will still have the ability to get your Fastpass at one of the kiosks for free, according to the Press Enterprise.
Disneyland also announced that two additional rides will be getting Fastpass access: he Matterhorn Bobsleds and Toy Story Midway Mania – bringing the total number of Fastpass rides to 16.
No word yet on when the new system will be up and running.
