Disneyland announces closing date for ‘Tower of Terror’

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror – a rad ride that Disney has decided to change in order to better promote Chris Pratt movies – has an official final date of operation.

The attraction’s final day will be January 2, 2017, Disney announced on its blog.

The company also announced that from September 9 through October 31, park guests will be treated to “Late Check-Out” – where they will be able to experience the Tower of Terror in complete darkness for some reason.

Disney will also be selling special merchandise so you can remember how cool the old ride is while you begrudgingly ride the new Guardians of the Galaxy version because the line for California Screamin’ was too long.
