Desert Trip: Day 1, Weekend 2: Photos, Videos, and Set Lists

“Welcome to the catch ’em before they croak festival,” Mick Jagger said as he took the stage for Day One of Weekend Two of Desert Trip.

The Rolling Stones changed things up a bit from their Weekend One set. “Get Off of My Cloud,” “Sweet Virginia,” “Live With Me,” “Angie,” “Paint It Black,” and “You Got the Silver” were performed, unlike Weekend One, and the band performed a new track “Just Your Fool,” a track from its forthcoming album, “Blue & Lonesome.”

Bob Dylan once again opened up Desert Trip – though this time he had a Nobel Prize to his name – and also changed his set up slightly from Weekend One, adding “Like a Rolling Stone” and “Why Try to Change Me Now” to his set.

For those next to the stage, they were able to see the musician perform.  Those who were a few rows back were treated to black and white video on the big screens showing Dylan’s back and an overhead shot of the top of his head almost the entire set.
