Sarah Robles, a Desert Hot Springs native and San Jacinto High School grad, won bronze at the Olympics on Sunday.

Robles lifted a total weight of 286 kilograms (630 pounds) in the snatch and clean and jerk lifts to take home the bronze.

It’s the first weightlifting medal for the U.S. since 2000.
