This is the most dangerous intersection in the Coachella Valley

The most dangerous intersection in the Coachella Valley is in Indio, according to a new study.

The law firm of Estey & Bomberger and 1point21 Interactive analyzed over 435,000 collision records from 2015 to determine which intersections in California were the most dangerous. They looked at all intersections that saw 10 or more collisions, then took the number of crashes, injuries and fatalities into account to determine which were the most dangerous.

Clinton Street and Fred Waring was determined to be the most dangerous in the Desert. The Indio intersection saw 11 crashes causing 14 injuries and 1 fatality in 2015. The study proclaims that the intersection is the 234th most dangerous intersection in all of California.

Los Angeles has 8 of the top 10 most dangerous intersections, according to the study – with Devonshire and Reseda ranking at number one on the list.

Dinah Shore and Monterey in Palm Desert was the only other Coachella Valley intersection to make the list of the 444 most dangerous intersections.
