CVUSD employee arrested, accused of inappropriate relationship with high schooler

A Coachella man was arrested on Thursday after the Coachella Valley Unified School District informed law enforcement about a report of a school employee possibly having an inappropriate relationship with a student who attended Coachella Valley High School.

Investigators with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department say they discovered that Edward Noel Alvarado Valadez, 25, had an inappropriate sexual relationship through social media apps with a student who attended Coachella Valley High School, according to a news release.

Valadez was located by police at another school within the district and taken into custody.

He was booked at the county jail in Indio for the charge of lewd acts with a minor.
