Tickets for the 2017 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival go on sale today and, for the first time in a long time, you have a much better shot at getting tickets.

That is because the city of Indio approved an additional 25,000 attendees for each weekend of Coachella. How are all those people going to fit? That is for Goldenvoice to find out. As for you, here are your steps to grab your wristbands.

1) Be on your device at 11 a.m. or, even better, probably a few minutes before. Tickets will be on sale at Coachella.com and this is the only time you can do payments for them. Prices are as follows:

  • General admission: $399
  • General admission with shuttle pass (highly recommended if you are not staying on site): $459
  • VIP: $899
  • VIP parking: $150
  • Car camping: $99
  • Tent camping: $99

2) You will need a credit or debit card. Coachella recommends a credit card as your bank may decline the purchase if it is over your daily allotment.

3) Unless you are buying an expensive package, each purchase can only be for 2 wristbands.

4) If the online buying system is confusing in any way, Coachella does a pretty good job of breaking it all down here.

5) Most importantly, if you buy passes, actually use them to go to the damn festival instead of being an asshole who tries to sell them for double the price.
