City of Coachella, home of Berniechella, had lowest voter turnout in the Coachella Valley

Berniechella

As it would turn out, Berniechella did not do much to bring out Bernie Sanders voters – or, well, any voters –  as the City of Coachella lagged far behind other Coachella Valley cities in voter turnout in the California primary election.

Via Desert Sun:

Indian Wells took the top spot among cities — nearly two out of three registered voters there cast a ballot — while Coachella came in last with only about 30 percent of the electorate. Countywide, the showing was about 44 percent, higher than in 2012 but lower than in 2008.

But hey, at least we will always have this mural.

Update: As pointed out by Derek on Facebook, the mural may have already been painted over. How quickly they forget.
