Coachella

News, lineups, food, set times and more for the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival held for over two weekends every April at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California.

Coachella was first held in 1999 as a two day festival.  The second installment was held in 2001 and was just a one day event.  Since then, the music festival expanded back to two days, then three, then six days total, held over two different weekends.

The event features multiple stages and tents showcasing bands, singers, DJs, and more.  Over 150,000 people attend each weekend of the event making it the most profitable concert festival in the world with tickets selling out in mere hours every year.

Coachella is the brainchild of promoter Goldenvoice, who also stages the Stagecoach Country Music Festival the weekend after the second weekend of Coachella.
