The 23-year-old man who tossed a Molotov cocktail into a Coachella mosque  was sentenced to six years in prison on Monday.

Carl James Dial, of Palm Desert, pleaded guilty last month to maliciously setting a fire and a hate crime.

The fire occurred at Islamic Society of the Coachella Valley’s mosque on Avenue 49 in Coachella on Dec. 11, just a little over a week after the San Bernardino terrorist attack.
