California man arrested for forcing driver to take him to KFC at 3 am

A man was arrested over the weekend after police say forced another man to drive him from San Jose to a Kentucky Fried Chicken in Mountain View at 3 am.

21-year-old Alberto Ulloa-Avila allegedly opened the passenger door of a man’s car and threatened to hurt the driver of the car, a man he didn’t know, if he didn’t drive him to KFC, reports NBC News.

The driver obliged and when they arrived at the fast food joint, Ulloa-Avila tried to rob the driver. The driver then fled the vehicle on foot.

Ulloa-Avila took the wheel of the car and drove away, then turned the car around and drove back to the KFC where he started to chase the driver.

Police arrived and Ulloa-Avila was taken into custody without incident.

He was arrested for kidnapping, making criminal threats, vehicle theft, violating a protective order and driving on a suspended license.
