Armed robbery suspect arrested in Coachella

A Coachella man was arrested on Thursday in connection to an armed robbery that took place the previous day.

A suspect, armed with a handgun, entered a business on Grapefruit Blvd. in Coachella on Wednesday, according to a news release. The man then fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force served a search warrant the next day on Cesar Chavez Street. During the service of the search warrant, Task Force Officers arrested documented gang member Daniel Magana.

Magana, 21, was charged with Armed Robbery and booked at the Indio Jail.
