Poor ZZ Top.
Normally, early October does not offer much in the way of entertainment in The Coachella Valley. Temperatures are still pretty damn hot, the snowbirds are still making roads miserable in Washington and Canada, and not much of anything is scheduled as far as entertainment goes.
So, when ZZ Top scheduled a show for October 8 at Agua Caliente Casino, they probably thought they would have every Coachella Valley and Inland Empire classic rock fan all to themselves.
Now, thanks to the just announced Desert Trip festival, that is no longer the case.
Well, at least you have a backup in case you don’t get tickets to see Paul McCartney and Neil Young.
