Amazon Lockers are coming to Coachella

Amazon Lockers are coming to Coachella (Amazon)

Festival goers at the 2019 Coachella Music and Arts Festival will be able to receive Amazon packages at the festival grounds this year. What a time to be alive.

Amazon announced Monday that they will be placing Amazon Lockers at the Empire Polo Field during the fest giving customers a chance to have everything from sun hats to phone chargers to lip balm to portable fans directly to an Amazon Locker at no additional cost during both festival weekends – April 12-14 and April 19-21.

In addition to the lockers, Amazon will introduce a curated Amazon storefront to discover other festival-inspired products – because, yes, #BrandChella is very real.

“We want customers to make the most out of their weekend at Coachella,” explains Patrick Supanc, Amazon Worldwide Director of Lockers and Pickup. “Bringing the convenience of Amazon Lockers to Coachella will help customers focus on their experience instead of worrying about forgetting something at home or having to carry it in with them.”

So how do the Amazon Lockers at Coachella work?

According to Amazon, festival goers will select one of the Amazon Lockers as their shipping address. Once their package is ready for pickup, customers will receive an e-mail along with a barcode that they’ll use to pick up their package.

Amazon Lockers will have a designated space within the festival gates and Amazon team members will be onsite to answer any questions from customers picking up their package.

Amazon will also regulate what can and can’t be shipped in, so you can forget about trying to sneak in banned items like a couch or video camera.
