All Star Jam, a rock concert to benefit Martha’s Village, is coming to Spotlight 29

You have a chance to rock out and support a good cause this November, as Spotlight 29 Casino presents the All Star Jam, with proceeds from ticket sales benefitting Martha’s Village.

The Saturday, November 2nd concert will feature several rock all-stars including Wally Palmar (The Romantics), Steve Augeri (Journey former lead vocalist), Jason Scheff (former lead singer of the band Chicago), John Elefante (former lead singer of Kansas), and the critically acclaimed Sixwire, who was the 2019 house band for the NFL Draft in Nashville.

Palmar is best known as a founding member and frequent lead singer of the American new wave band The Romantics,  best known for hits such as “What I Like About You,” and “Talking in Your Sleep.”

Augeri served as the lead vocalist for the rock group Journey from 1998 – 2006. Augeri will entertain with songs such as “Don’t Stop Believin’” and “Separate Ways.”

In mid-1985, 23-year old Scheff joined the multi-platinum band Chicago, after Peter Cetera departed. Scheff is best know for his lead vocals on the band’s huge hit “Will You Still Love Me?” and Chicago’s 1986 remake of their own “25 or 6 to 4.”

Elefante is known for his tenure as frontman of the rock group Kansas, known best for “Carry on Wayward Son,” “Dust in the Wind,” and countless others.

Each will sing with house band Sixwire. Collectively, Sixwire members have been seen on television programs that include American Idol, Nashville, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Nashville Star, The Today Show, Good Morning America, and both the ACM Awards and the CMA Awards.

Martha’s Village, a non-profit organization, is one of the largest providers of homeless services in the Coachella Valley and Riverside County. Located in Indio, Martha’s Village was founded in 1990 and offers life-changing programs to help break the cycle of homelessness. Services include food, childcare, career preparation, education, healthcare and case management.
