That guy…from that meme…about aliens…well turns out, he is a real dude – and he will be in Joshua Tree this weekend for a UFO convention which may or may not actually include aliens.
The fourth installment of Contact in the Desert will take place all weekend at the Joshua Tree Retreat Center.
Guest speakers including Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, the real name of the meme guy and the star of the television series “Ancient Aliens”. Other guests include author Erich von Daniken, radio host George Noory, and Whitley Strieber who wrote the book “Communion” about his alleged abduction by aliens in New York in 1983 – which was later made into a movie starring Christopher Walken.

There will also be guided tours of Giant Rock in Landers – which is, and this might surprise you, a giant rock…which is pretty popular with the UFO crowd.
Tickets are going for $275 – which seems totally worth it if aliens show up.
