A lucky lottery player won $750,000 off a scratcher bought in Palm Springs

A woman is $750,000 richer after the lottery ticket she purchased at a Palm Springs liquor store turned out to be a big winner.

Nicole Howson was identified as the big winner in a press release issued by the California Lottery.

“It’s great and offers a lot more security,” Howson said in the release (via the Desert Sun). “We are so grateful and super excited!”

The winning ticket redeemed on November 1. It was purchased at Palm Liquor and Deli in Palm Springs.
