7-bedroom Madison Club mansion in La Quinta sells for $12 million

The Madison Club has a new, non-Kardashian resident after a brand-new mansion in the community sold for $12 million.

The contemporary home three structures with more than 11,300 sq. ft. of living space and backs directly up to the Madison Club’s golf course. There are two pools, a four-car garage, and two motorcourts that are able to accomodate 15 more vehicles.

The property has a two-bedroom guesthouse and a “casita” that overlooks one of the property’s two pools.

The main house features a European-style kitchen that can seat 11, three ensuite guest bedrooms, and a resort-style master suite, which is framed by walls of glass overlooking the backyard swimming pool.

According to Variety, the buyer of the home is Lance Collins and his wife, Linda Taylor. In 2000, Collins founded Fuze Beverage – which he sold to Coca-Cola in 2007 for $250 million.  He then founded Core Nutrition, another beverage company which was eventually sold to Keurig Dr. Pepper for $525 million.

The $12 million price tag equals what Kris Jenner paid for her home in the Madison Club in 2018.  Other Madison Club homeowners include Irving Azoff, Sylvester Stallone and, perhaps soon, Kim and Kanye.
