Thanksgiving is a time to give thanks, which I would like to do now with this list of 51 things in the Greater Palm Springs area I am thankful for.

1) Those amazing desert sunsets

2) Coachella Fest

3) The Dutch crunch bread at The Sandwich spot

4) The first day when the high temperature falls under 90 degrees after a long, hot summer

5) Keys View on a clear day

6) Happy Hour at Trio

7) The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway

8) That no one ever enforces the closed signs at the top third of the Bump and Grind

9) The view of snow-capped mountains after a storm

10) Saturday night steak dinner at Sparrow’s Lodge

11) The Coachella Valley Preserve

12) The men and women who put their lives on the line to keep us safe
