Root on hometown hero Timothy Bradley Jr. as he takes on Jessie Vargas for the interim WBO welterweight title Saturday night at 6:45 p.m. at The Stub Hub Center in Carson. Tickets are still available for $27 to $157 and for those not making the drive west, the fight is being aired on HBO and will be streaming at BoxNation.

Mayhem Fest

The “Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival” makes its annual stop at The San Manuel Amphitheater in San Bernardino on Saturday.  This years slate of metal artists include Slayer, King Diamond, The Devil Wears Prada,  and Hellyeah.  Tickets range from $30 to $66.66 (oh, I see what they did there).   This might just be the last Mayhem fest, so if you dig metal – better go out and see it.

Have a great weekend!
