4xFar fest to debut in Thermal in January with Anderson .Paak, Sofi Tukker, Mark Ronson, more

4xFAR, a new festival slated for for January 18 and 19 in the Coachella Valley, has been announced with headliners including Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Mark Ronson & Q-Tip, Sofi Tukker, Kurt Vile, Tijuana Panthers and Young the Giant.

The fest is slated to take place at Empire Grand Oasis, a new facility located at 84750 58th Avenue in Thermal. In addition to the music (full lineup at bottom of post), guests will be given the opportunity to do things like fly-fishing demos (!), yoga, climbing, and more.

Land Rover has gotten behind the event and will have a display of their cars and other activities.

Tickets range from $185-$299 and are on-sale now. Early bird tickets are listed as sold-out – though it’s not clear when those may have been on-sale and who would’ve known about them.

For those looking to volunteer or work the event, the fest’s website says that is not going to be happening.

The Desert Sun notes, the festival is produced by Corso Agency, which is behind the Heineken House at Coachella.  Empire Grand Oasis is a new estate by Alex Haagen III, owner of the Empire Polo Club.
