It is time to celebrate America by blowing some stuff up in the sky
It is time once again to celebrate America by blowing up a bunch of stuff in the sky! 4th of July is always a good time and this year, you have a few choices for where and when to watch the fireworks in the Coachella Valley – in fact, you do not even have to wait until July.
Here is your Independence Day firework show rundown (which will be updated if additional shows are announced):
You don’t even have to wait until July to get your fireworks on this year. Fantasy Springs Resort Casino will hold their fireworks show on Thursday, June 30 at 9 p.m. Bring a chair or a blanket to sit on to watch the show from Eagle Falls Golf Course.

The Palm Desert Civic Center is home once again to a 4th of July event. Things get officially started at 7:15 p.m. with the singing of our National Anthem, followed by a concert at 7:30 p.m.
You can bring lawn chairs, blankets, and snacks (just no booze) to the party – which concludes with a firework show at 9 p.m.
Parking can be kind of awful at the park, so you might want to plan on getting their early or take the shuttle – which will run from The Gardens on El Paseo starting at 6 p.m.
Palm Springs not only has fireworks this year – but also baseball and a pool party.
Things kick off at 2 p.m. at the Palm Springs Swim Center, 405 S. Pavilion Way with a party featuring music, games and a large inflatable slide. The fiesta will run until the end of the fireworks show. Price to get in is 6 bucks for adults, 2 bucks for kids.
At 6 p.m. the Palm Springs Power will take on Southern Nevada at Palm Springs Stadium at 1901 E. Baristo Road. You can pay a few bucks to watch the game or wait until 8, when everyone can start coming into the stadium for free just in time for the fireworks at 9:15 pm.
You are allowed to bring blankets and lawn chairs.

The casino is located at 32250 Bob Hope Drive.
Starting at 6:00 p.m., Luckie Park will play host to games, prizes, a “duck pluck” raffle, bounce houses, live music, and food vendors. The park’s swimming pool will be open until 8:30 pm and there will be live music throughout the day. Fireworks show is at 9.
The Yucca Valley Rotary Club and the Town of Yucca Valley present their annual fireworks show at Brehm Park at 56620 Little League Drive. Gates open at 6, fireworks are at 9.
