Photos were released on Monday of two men sought by police in connection with the death of a man who was sucker punched in downtown Riverside on August 12.

Adam Valles was jumped by four men after he tried to break up a fight near Mission Inn Avenue, reports KTLA. At some point, a person not involved in the initial fight punched Valles, who fell and hit his head.

“He saw a fight breaking out. He went to go help. He broke up the fight, but then someone tackled him to floor. He got up and then someone else hit him and he fell and he never got back up after that,” his wife, Johanna, told ABC 7.

Valles suffered a brain hemorrhage and died at the hospital five days later.

The first suspect looks to be in his early 20s, is of medium, height and thin build. He has dark hair and was last seen wearing a black or dark shirt, gray skinny jeans and black shoes with white laces.
