A 13-year-old boy was arrested after police say he attacked his 80-year-old neighbor with a brick.

The boy and his sister were arguing out in front of the elderly woman’s house on July 17, reports the Press Enterprise. The woman told the boy to stop arguing and to leave her yard, at which point he picked up a brick and threw it at her. The brick struck the woman in the leg and she was treated at the hospital.

The boy then took another brick and broke her car window.

Adult Protective Services notified police and they arrested the boy.

The boy’s father paid for the window to be replaced and told deputies it was not the first time his child had problems with law enforcement.
