Would You Rent Leonardo DiCaprio’s Palm Springs House for $4,500 a Night?

Those planning a vacation in Palm Springs have a new option for lodging, as actor Leo DiCaprio’s Palm Springs estate has hit the vacation rental market.

And the former Dinah Shore Estate does not settle for Craigslist or Airbnb, it has it’s own damn website (plus a Facebook fan page) – where it lists the home’s ammenities:

6 BEDROOMS
7 1/2 BATHROOMS
DELUXE CHEF’S KITCHEN
MULTIPLE FIREPLACES
GATED SERVICE ENTRANCE
HEATED POOL & SPA
DAILY MAID SERVICE
LIT NORTH/SOUTH TENNIS COURT
1 BEDROOM GUEST HOUSE
WIFI

Yup, Leo is springin’ for your WiFi, provided you throw down the $4,500 a night rate (with a 2 night minimum).

The big question: why would an actor who reportedly made $39 million last year be renting out his home to complete strangers for a few extra bucks…

…but, provided you have 9 grand to throw down on a rental, what do you care? But hey, maybe you can recoup the money in the loose change in Leo’s couch cushions!

Renters must be over 25 years of age and only 16 people may sleep in the home at night (making it just over $280 a person) – and, even though he is an actor, DiCaprio’s policy bans film shoots (sorry porn companies).

DiCaprio has never admitted to owning the property, but the sale of the home was traced to the address of DiCaprio’s production company last year.
