Police arrested a 53 -year-old woman after she led them on a chase from Cabazon to Desert Center.
Officers responded to calls of a reckless driver in Cabazon at about 9 am Sunday. They attempted to pull over a motor home, but the driver, identified as Imelda Sortino, failed to do so, according to KMIR.
A spike strip was deployed near Dillon Road in Coachella, which deflated two tires, reports the Press Enterprise.

The pursuit ended near Eagle Mountain Road, 86 miles from where it began. There, the suspect barricaded herself in the vehicle and the eastbound portion of the freeway was shut down for several hours.
Officers were eventually able to enter the motor home and arrested Sortino for failure to yield to police. They do not believe that alcohol and drugs were not a factor.
