William Shatner, Christopher Lloyd to film ‘Senior Moment’ in Palm Springs

Captain Kirk and Dr. Emmett Brown are coming to Palm Springs.

William Shatner and Christopher Lloyd will star in a movie called “Senior Moment” that is set to film in the Coachella Valley later this Spring.  Lloyd was just added to the cast this week, something that Shatner seemed pretty excited about:

Variety breaks down the movie’s premise:

Shatner plays a retired Top Gun Navy pilot who used to test aircraft for NASA. After speeding around town in his vintage convertible hot rod with his best friend (played by Lloyd) in tow, he gets caught in a major crackdown to get dangerous senior drivers off the road, resulting in his car being impounded and his license revoked.

You had me at “serious crackdown to get dangerous senior drivers off the road.”

City officials were hard at work planning on the details of the shoot on Wednesday.

Also filming in the desert this Spring is Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga’s “A Star is Born” – which you may be starring in too.
