Two in serious condition after being stabbed in Palm Springs

Two men were seriously injured after being stabbed in Palm Springs early Wednesday morning.

One victim was found suffering from stab wounds at the corner of Ramon Road and South Sunrise Way, reports KESQ. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Another stabbing victim was able to make it to the hospital on his own.  He was placed in a medically induced coma.

The stabbings happened sometime between 3 and 3:30 am, according to the Desert Sun.

Several businesses on Sunrise were blocked off while police investigated.

A man was detained at the scene, but it is not clear if he is a witness or a suspect.
