Teens in Golf Cart Lead Cops on Chase. Fail.

Rare is it that a police chase ends with the criminal getting away. Even rarer is it that a slow-ass golf cart would be able to escape capture. But that did not deter 3 teenagers from trying to outrun the cops in a stolen golf cart after an attempted home robbery in Thousand Palms on Monday. The trio also tried to run over someone with the cart. KESQ reports:

Police arrested 19-year-old Oscar Ramirez-Mungia of Thousand Palms, along with a 15 year old from Thousand Palms and a 17 year old from Indio. Authorities said the person the teens tried to hit with the golf cart wasn’t the homeowner they were attempting to rob.

The three teens were arrested and now face multiple charges including assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly trying to hit that person with the stolen golf cart.
