Sylvester Stallone will be in Indio on Sunday, January 29 to emcee the dedication of a polo field in honor of General George S. Patton.

Patton, one of the greatest and the most colorful generals in U.S. Army history, was also an avid polo player.

To honor Patton’s career and his love of the sport, the Empire Polo Club is naming its main Sunday Polo Field the “The General Patton Field.”
