Suzanne Somers’ Palm Springs home is going up for auction

Suzanne Somers is putting her Palm Springs estate up for auction starting January 31. The home, which Somers has owned for 40 years, has no “reserve,” according to People, which means there is no minimum price for the auction. So, hey, I’ll bid a dollar, then no one else bid. I promise I will invite you all to my housewarming party in return. Thanks in advance!

The house, which will be sold through Concierge Auctions in cooperation with Scott Lyle of Douglas Elliman Real Estate, was previously listed for sale at $14.5 million. Somers and her husband, Alan Hamel, bought the property in 1977 as a way to escape the paparazzi in Los Angeles (Threes Company was a huge, huge show).

The 70 acre estate on Ridge Road has five buildings with eight bedrooms total and 11 bathrooms. There’s also a formal dining room that seats 32 a two-room kitchen, and a 5,000-bottle wine cellar – which is perfect for all of your Two Buck Chuck.
