Police are looking for a man they say stole an expensive ring from a jewelry store at the Galleria at Tyler mall in Riverside.

A man walked into Zales Jewelers on October 9 and looked at a piece of jewelry. According to police, the man then grabbed the $14,000 ring and ran out of the store and into a gray 4-door sedan with paper plates that was waiting for him outside.

Authorities believe the same man visited a Zales in San Bernardino right before the theft in Riverside. Here’s video of the suspect inside that store:

The suspect is described as a black male adult, 20 to 30 years-old, about 5’9” tall and 170 pounds, and has tattoos on both arms. He may also have a scar or mark on his left eyebrow. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, dark colored jeans, black shoes, and also wearing a large gold chain necklace, rings, and earrings. Police say the man may have committed a similar theft in the City of Arcadia in September 2017.
