A camera that was stolen from Cabot Yerxa Elementary School in Desert Hot Springs may have captured the image of the man stealing it.

The surveillance camera, valued at $1,300 was taken from the school about 3 am Wednesday morning, reports KESQ.  And while the camera was taken, the equipment it was connected to seems to have been left intact, leaving images of the suspect:

Desert Hot Springs Police have released images from the camera in hopes that someone will help identify the suspect.
