Coachella man arrested after bringing rifle into his neighbor’s house

A Coachella man was arrested on Friday after going into his neighbor’s house with a rifle.

Cops had been alerted about a man walking around carrying a weapon by residents of Third Street about 2:30 pm, according to KESQ.

When the cops arrived, they found that Joe Carrillo, 34, had illegally entered the house of a neighbor that was occupied by a family.

Police were able to arrest Carrillo without incident and no one was injured.

Carrillo was arrested for being a felon in possession of an assault rifle and a high capacity magazine.
