The I.E. is home to plenty of America’s least fun cities

A new study by WalletHub set out to find the most fun cities in the United States, but it also concluded what most people in the Inland Empire already know: the place is a snoozer.

Wallethub took into account almost 60 factors when ranking their list of the 150 most populated cities in the country including recreational activities (beaches, bowling alleys, etc.) to nightlife options to the price of movie tickets to playgrounds to brewery hours. Not surprisingly, Las Vegas topped the list. Then there were these cities in the I.E. all near the bottom:

  • Fontana (148 out of 150)
  • Ontario (146)
  • Rancho Cucamonga (145)
  • Moreno Valley (142)
  • Riverside (115)
  • San Bernardino (113)

No Coachella Valley cities made the list – as they weren’t big enough – but, I think we are all pretty sure they would have ranked super-high in the fun index ????

It’s not all bad news for So Cal, San Diego made the list at number 10 and LA at number 12 – and, thankfully, Vegas is only a four hour drive away.
