James Henry Trotter lives with two ghastly hags -- his odious aunts -- and he's a very lonely little boy indeed. One day, something peculiar happens. At the end of the garden, a peach starts to grow and grow ... and "grow". Inside that peach are seven very unusual insects, all waiting to take James on a magical adventure of enormous proportions. The Barn Stage Company invites you to crawl inside the giant peach and take a peek. Based on Roald Dahl's beloved book and featuring music by the Tony Award-winning song-writing team behind "Dogfight", "Smash" and "Dear Evan Hansen", this family musical takes you on an amazing voyage across the ocean.

Winner of five 2015 Tony Awards including Best Play, the acclaimed National Theatre production of "The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time" is now touring North America. This Broadway phenomenon, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Marianne Elliott ("War Horse"), in an adaptation by Tony and Olivier Award winner Simon Stephen, brings Mark Haddon's internationally best-selling novel to thrilling life. When the curtain rises at L.A.'s Ahmanson Theatre, you'll meet 15-year-old Christopher Boone. Christopher has an extraordinary brain -- exceptionally intelligent but ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. When he falls under suspicion for killing his neighbor's dog, Christopher sets out to identify the true culprit, which leads to an earth-shattering discovery and a journey that will change his life forever.

See a work of art come to life at the "Pageant of the Masters". This one-of-a-kind production, an Orange County tradition, uses real people to recreate classical and contemporary paintings down to the finest detail. As you take in the visual marvel, a narrator guides you through the story behind each work while a live orchestra sets the tone. This year's presentation, "The Grand Tour", recreates the experience of a time when there were virtually no public museums and people would go on artistic pilgrimages, traveling around Europe to see great works of art. Highlighting masterpieces by Leonardo da Vinci, Tiepolo, Longhi, Watteau, Reynolds and Romney, as well as American artists like John Singer Sargent, "The Grand Tour" will take you on a whirlwind journey from Pompeii to a celebration of Carnival in Venice to the European tour of Buffalo Bill's "Wild West Show" to Paris in the Jazz Age. The special Celebrity Benefit evening on August 26th features performances by nine-time Grammy Award-winning trumpeter/songwriter Herb Alpert and two-time Grammy winner Lani Hall. Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actor Bryan Cranston draws the winning ticket for a 2018 Acura TLX and introduces a special performance of the 2017 Pageant of the Masters.

Experience the high energy and unflagging enthusiasm of the man Robin Williams called "Prozac with a head." Born with achondroplastic dwarfism, stand-up comic Brad Williams started doing comedy at the age of 19 and got his big break when he began appearing on Comedy Central's "Mind of Mencia". Williams also toured as Carlos Mencia's opening act for five years, which was where he honed his unique talent for creating hilarious material from awkward situations. Since then, his stand-up's been featured on Comedy Central's "Live at Gotham", "The Tonight Show" and "Jimmy Kimmel Live!" When he's not touring the country's comedy clubs, Williams regularly plays shows for the U.S. military around the world.

Nastier than Scorsese at his bleakest, more violent than Tarantino at his bloodiest, "Macbeth" still shocks like no other tale on the page, stage or screen. Maybe it's because the murderous Macbeth isn't a robot from outer space or even a charming psychopath -- he is something much more dangerous: an ordinary person with an extraordinary desire for power. Now Shakespeare in the Vines stages this chilling portrait of temptation, ambition and betrayal at Baily Vineyard & Winery in Temecula. Driven by a supernatural prophesy, his own ambition and an adamant partner, the Scottish general slashes his way to the throne. But just as he grasps the crown, it starts to slip through his bloody fingers.
