This guy is accused of setting up dates just to stick women with the dinner bill

A man who multiple women say has skipped out on their date before the bill for dinner arrives has struck again.

CBS LA reported on Paul Gonzales back in August 2016, when two women came forward to say that he left them to pay the bill on a blind date. One of the women said Gonzales ate $100 worth of food at a Long Beach restaurant – telling her he was a bodybuilder and ordering two entrees – then getting up to use the restroom and never coming back to the table.

This week, another woman identified as Beth, told WTOL that she met Gonzales on Bumble and the two agreed to meet at a BJ’s in Pasadena. Gonzales ordered “a glass of pinot, a Caesar salad with a side of shrimp, a steak, and a baked potato.” Beth says he ate most of the meal and then, once again, left the table to make a phone call and never came back.

“I was shocked that anybody would do this. And I even texted him, ‘Is everything OK?’ And obviously he never responded,” Beth told the TV station.

Bumble has since removed Gonzales’ profile.

Police say he has also walked out on bills at a salon without paying for a haircut and color and is wanted on two bench warrants as a result of misdemeanor charges, including petty theft.
