Elon Musk has a plan to beat SoCal traffic and it involves a lot of tunnels

Elon Musk, the guy behind Tesla and the Hyperloop, has a plan to get rid of the awful Southern California traffic.

His latest venture, dubbed The Boring Company, released a video on Friday showing how Musk sees traveling in the future: high speed underground tunnels.

In the video, a Tesla Model S pulls into an evelator on the side of the road, is taken underground, then whisked away on a track at well over 100 miles per hour.

Could it work?  Maybe, maybe not.  But I am willing to try anything not to get stuck in L.A. rush hour traffic.
