You can thank Bradley Cooper for Lady Gaga replacing Beyonce at Coachella

The time leading up to this year’s Coachella fest was a bit more chaotic than usual with Beyonce announcing she would not headline due to pregnancy. Now, thanks to Bruce Fessier of the Desert Sun, we know how the promoters of the festival were able to bring in Lady Gaga as a replacement headliner.

As it would turn out, Lady Gaga was already going to be in Greater Palm Springs filming a remake of “A Star is Born” (which you may or may not be also starring in) which is written and directed by Bradley Cooper. This inspired managing owner-operator of the festival, Paul Tollett to take action which he discussed in an interview with Fessier.

“Then we heard, ‘Oh, she’s making a movie in the Coachella Valley,” Tollett told the newspaper. “‘Oh, wow! There’s a plan to be had there. Let’s look at that schedule.’ When we heard, ‘It’s out there,’ (it was,) ‘Let’s regroup.’”

The schedule of the filming was changed (here’s guessing Bradley Cooper now gets VIP tickets for life) and now Gaga will be performing both Saturdays of the festival in Indio.

Can't wait for COACHELLA! Until then studio studio studio✌️????????
