A body was discovered Tuesday morning behind the Canyon Plaza in Cathedral City.
The discovery was made by a Palm Springs man who was looking for his dog who ran off during the 4th of July fireworks.
Palm Springs resident Brian Weber told the Desert Sun that the man’s body was naked and smelled when he found it.
Police are investigating.
