Fall is just around the corner – and with it, a ton of great music festivals around Southern California as well as a fantastic one in Las Vegas.
1KAABOO Del Mar
Del Mar plays host to the three-day KAABOO Del Mar festival September 15-17. There are loads of performers including headliners: The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Pink, and Muse.
The annual massive electronic music festival hits Glen Helen Regional Park September 15 and 16 from 5pm to 2am each day. Mija, Autograf, Dillon Francis, Cut Snake, Excision, Snails, Valentino Khan, and many more will perform.
3Life is Beautiful
Las Vegas is the place to be September 22-24 as the three-day Life is Beautiful Festival takes place downtown. Chance the Rapper, Muse, Gorillaz, Lorde, Blink 182, and The XX headline – with appearances by many more including Cirque Du Soleil and Bill Nye.
A 2-day Irish Music festival featuring 15 bands, beer, whiskey, and all things Irish. The event happens the last weekend in September in Murrietta’s Town Square Park.
5Joshua Tree Fall Music Festival
A family-friendly event featuring continuous live music, yoga, art, an “Astronomy Theatre,” kids area, and more. The event runs October 5 – 8 at the Joshua Tree Lake Campground.
6Desert Oasis Festival
Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley (Damian Marley), Rebelution, The Green, Steel Pulse, Los Lobos, E-40 will perform the inaugural two-day festival at the Empire Polo Fields in Indio on October 7 and 8.
Glen Helen Regional Park will be the home to CalJam 17 on Saturday, October 7. The lineup is stacked with the Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, Royal Blood, Liam Gallagher, and more. Plus there will be camping, rides and even a waterpark!
The fest will see Spiritualized, Courtney Barnett & Kurt Vile, John Cale, Panda Bear, Eagles of Death Metal and more perform. The four-day event also has camping, art, food trucks and more. It runs October 12-15 at The Institute of Mentalphysics in Joshua Tree.
9Escape: Psycho Circus
The weekend before Halloween will see the return of the event in San Bernardino that includes electronic music, 30 interactive environments and mazes, and more. Basically, it’s Halloween on steroids. The event is scheduled for October 27 & 28 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino.
Chase Rice, Kip Moore, Frankie Ballard, Dan + Shay, and Maddie and Tae headline the fest – which also includes BBQ and beer tasting all taking place on Orange County’s beautiful Doheny State Beach November 11 & 12.
